Vertical Doors

A great addition to your scion tC are vertical doors. There are many types of vertical doors ranging from butterfly, scissor-slide, and 90 degree doors. All of these will give your daily drivers a unique and exotic sports car look that will have everyone envying your car.

There are a  lot variety out there that may be great for your purpose if what you're looking for is that little extra something to add to your scion tc. First, we have the traditional vertical doors which are the ones that open vertically using special types of hinges. These types of kits use specially made brackets and also gas shocks in order to open slightly outward, and then upwards. A minor disadvantage to these door kits is the increased difficulty of getting in and out of the car. This can be improved by adjusting the doors to open further out before going up, that will make it easier to get in and out of the car. Other types modification can be done such as suicide doors. Suicide doors open exactly opposite of traditional doors. The hinges are simply moved to the other side of the opening on the door so it swings the other way which also makes for a pretty cool upgrade.

My favorite of all the vertical door kits would have to be the scissor-slide vertical door kit. Scissor-Slide vertical door kits are designed for a universal fit and are easy to install. The door open a little out and then swings 90 degrees up. These have a unique look and allow you to easily open and close the doors without breaking your back. It has four adjustable points on the hinge which allows it to have it's unique look. They are 100% CNC machined and use a chromyl steel construction.
